Stop for just a minute and listen real close. Can you hear that?  That is Rudolph and the boys warming up for their worldwide tour on Dec 24th.  You can catch a glimpse of old St. Nick on Dec.5 during the annual Christmas parade through downtown Gatlinburg.

The parade will start at 7:30 Friday and will have over 100 parade entries. Lighted floats, marching bands, and giant helium balloons are sure to bring a smile to the whole family. While you are in town to see the parade stay the night and take advantage of all the fun things Gatlinburg has to offer.

Thanksgiving is upon us and before you know it old St. Nick will be checking his list.  Want to get to the top of list with the family? Bring them to Gatlinburg for some holiday fun.

Winterfest kicks off today in Gatlinburg with a hot bowl of chili.  Get downtown as soon as you can because the chili won’t last long.  The festivities will start at 5 p.m.  Up to 20 vendors will be there serving up their secret recipes.  There will be live music by the Coasters,Barry Scott & Second Wind, and local talent the Griffins.

As always the town will turn on the winterfest lights to help ring in the holidays. This year will boast all LED lights to the tune of 1.5 million dollars!!!
